I studied Psychology at A Level and then Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, which focused heavily on neuro-physiology (how brains work) and chose a dissertation in child development. I'm a lifelong learner, and have continued to be fascinated by all aspects of what makes us human and makes people tick. Since becoming a parent my focus has moved to child ,mental health, family relationships and the continuous rise in anxiety in our youngest people.

I love being outdoors, all things forest school-y, supporting children to be their best selves parents to be their best selves too.

I have 3 children, Josie, Ted and Robbie, who give me reason to need my calming tools every day!
